Quark on DVD

Wow! Quark, the sci-fi comedy from 1978 is out of DVD. I LOVED Quark when I was a kid and can still quote some lines from it. The odd part is, I've never seen a single episode.
That's right. I loved the show and know every episode but have never seen any of them. How did this happen?
Rewind some 30 years. I'm a ten-year-old boy with a heavy Star Wars fascination (pretty common in those days). I'd seen previews of this new show, "Quark", but was disappointed it came on during my boy scout meetings. There was no way I could get out of the meetings and in 1978 video tape recorders were still toys for the wealthy - not something my folks could afford. So I did the only thing I could: I had my little brother make cassette tape recordings of the sound. Yep. Every week he'd tape another episode and I'd listen to it again and again. It was fantastic.
Now I have the opportunity to actually see those episodes and I'm not sure I really want to. I think it would spoil them for me. My imagination crafted very vivid images of all the action and I'm leery of washing them away with a torrent of pixels.
Maybe I'll buy the DVDs and somehow just listen to them.
