Things I Love That Aren't Doing So Well
11/8/2007
Apple TV - I love my Apple TV. It works great and has a fantastic interface. It has brought all of my digital photos off my small computer screen and into the living room. I still wish it had a DVD player though... Unfortunately it seems that Apple is neglecting its little TV set in favor if bigger fish. I hope they give it the TLC it needs to survive and grow.
Peappod - Peapod is fantastic. Time saving efficient and with (so far) great customer service. I don't ever want to go back to having to get my groceries by hand again. Sadly I've heard that Peapod is losing money and hasn't really caught on like it's parent company, Giant Foods, had hoped.
Heroes - Apparently it's ratings are sagging and the writer's strike has caused them to shelf the Origins spinoff. I imagine that NBC's greedy spat with Apple is also hurting the show. I know lots of people who used to watch it exclusively on iTunes. I tried their jerky, ad-laden online version of the show and gave up. Ugh! It's awful! I think I'll just sit this season out. At least there's Lost to look forward to...
