For Halloween: Nothing

This year for Halloween we did nothing. Will got stuck in traffic so we didn't even get out of the house to one of the parties we'd been invited to. We sat. We drank a little and watched some TV. That's it.
Is it odd to mention the absence of action over a holiday? Yes, but after this many years of making a big ta-do over it, I feel it's at least mildly notable...
Next year: the return of the pumpkin carving party!
