A four-song EP/demo to start my solo effort: music of travel and "awayness" for your smiling road trips and soul-searching escapes. It's more upbeat stuff than the Mesmers and often has an early 80s "reggae-rock" feel.
It was LOTS of working doing the whole thing myself: the song writing, singing, instrumentation, recording, mixing and cover art (exceptions are the Magnetic Field's "Desert Island" and the mastering that was done by Jay), so I'm pretty sure I'll be pulling in other musicians for the full album next year.
The cover is a photo was taken at the Bonneville Salt Flats during my big Burning Man trip last year. I believe it's actually Ryan standing there but it's hard to be sure.
