No Pumpkin Party This Year

Welcome to the Autumn Equinox. Fall is upon us and Will and I have been going back and forth on what to do about our annual Pumpkin party. Our decision: we're not having it. I know, I know, it's kind of lame but we've been throwing it for seven years (and I was having it for 2-3 years before we were a couple) and we just feel we need a break. A rest to make an event that has become to feel routine back into something special we really look forward to.
Still, Once we made the decision not to have it I got kinda bummed out about the whole thing. I don't know. This years seems to have been so much about work (much of which I'm not sure is doing me any good) that I'm a bit remorseful at how I've let vacation, travel, and social functions disappear. I think what really depresses me, however, is that I used to love the pumpkin party and I just can't find any real enthusiasm for it this year. That makes me sadder than anything else.
