Space: 1999 Interior

Say what you will about Space: 1999's innumerable plot holes, preposterous science, and sometimes ham-fisted acting (mostly in season 2), but its set design was astounding. Fully embracing the 70s space-age "fantastic plastic" motif, it created one of the most visually compelling sci-fi environments ever. Just about every frame shot inside "Moonbase Alpha" highlights some of the finest designers of that era.

Not too many folks are keen on the seventies space-mod look anymore (except Apple, who's entire product line would look right at home on an Eagle), but I've always wanted to do up a room in Space: 1999 style. Apparently I'm not the only one with this idea.
