Sick @ Home

I always feel like a wimp when I call in sick to work, which is probably why I so rarely do. Bill Gates purported never called in sick when Microsoft was ramping up, but Mr. Gates probably never had to count on his singing voice for upcoming performances.
I seem to recover faster with lots of rest rest than if I go about my business ignoring it. So, now that the band does have some upcoming shows, and I, of course, have caught a cold that is killing my throat, I've been taking it easy for the last few days trying to give my immune system an upper hand in banishing this virus.
No such luck so far...
