Credit-Card Conservative - Akin to the "tax-and-spend liberal" the credit-car conservative is a politician with an insatiable propensity for spending taxpayers dollars. The only real distinction between the two is when the spent money is to be collected. Tax-and-spend liberals want it up front via increased taxes whereas credit-car conservatives "charge" the cost of their bloated programs to future generations by running up the national debt.
Sadly, both manner of these politician are far to common in Washington these days.
