80s Sweater

This sweater is one of the many things I've bought in the last week in my whirlwind preparations for Burning Man. When I first spied it in a vintage clothing store I thought: "Wow. That looks just like something Nick Rhodes of Duran Duran would have worn back in the day." Checking the price tag I was amused to read: "80's high-art sweater. Very Duran Duran!". I chuckled, checked the fit, haggling over price, and it was mine.
Although I bought it for my trip it's pretty close to current Mesmers hues meaning it will probably be making an appearance on stage. Oh, and for those interested, it's labeled "Saxony Collection" and is made of leather, suede, and various other patches of fabric.
