2006 Fourth of July

The really heavy rain started just about the time we were supposed to be at Nick's party. Sheets and sheets of pounding rain that made quite a mess of things and then left. By the time we'd driven to the grocery store and then to Nick's it was almost over. The party itself was a nice small gathering with friends, neighbors and the antics of Pronto and Nick's dog Scooter. After eating we walked over to a hill by the Pentagon to catch the fireworks display.
