Texas will be voting next week on whether to add a constitutional amendment to their constitution banning gay marriage. One of the big supporters of this measure is the Ku Klux Klan who are even planning a rally to support the amendment and "stand together against this abomination to Yahweh and his word".
While it's true the Klan are a bunch of extremist kook, they at least speak in honest words while most of the religious right hides in cowardly, political code-speak. The religa-bigots may try and distance themselves from the Klan, but in this battle, they march with them hand-in-hand.
