Yes, yes, I really want one of the new Video iPod. If it wasn't for my band-induced abject poverty I'd order one today. My current iPod is many years old, the display has a line thru it, and the scroll wheel only works intermittently. Other justifications include:
- I can download and watch those episodes of Lost I'm missing because of band practice.
- I can finally download some of the old music videos I love (I'm really enjoying the Fixx's "Secret Separation").
- It is rumored that the new pods can record audio at 44k/16-bit quality in stereo which makes them perfect for catching musical ideas and band rehearsal.
