9/11/2005 - Jen and Peter's Wedding
Peter and Jen's wedding was last night. The ceremony itself was a beautiful candle-lit affair conducted at the Netherlands' Carillion at Arlington Cemetery. The weather was pleasant and the bride and groom both strode the gauntlet of wedding formalities with nary a problem.
The reception afterwards was held in DC at Ozio's Martini bar. It's always more fun to see the happy couple at the reception than the ceremony because by then they actually seem happy. The stress and scripted smiles of the ceremony gives way to the laughter and dancing of the reception as a loving couple enjoys their time to shine. So it was with Peter and Jen. They looked so very happy in the bar it was just enjoyable watching them. I wish 'em all the best.
