7/27/2005 - Five Year Anniversary
"We like this one. We hope you stay with him -- like FOREVER!"
I remember those words very well when Phil spoke them to me years ago. He was giving me good advice about Will which, so far, I've heeded. Not having any other marker by which to gauge our time together, Will and I have chosen the day we moved in to our house together as our anniversary; and that date is five years past today.
Mark Twain one wrote: "No man or woman really knows what perfect love is until they have been married a quarter of a century." and after five great years of being partnered to Will, I'm beginning to understand what he meant.
