7/16/2005 - Nothing Much to Say
I haven't had much to say lately, nor much time to say it. The band and work has been tying me down, and I just haven't had much else on my mind. So all I can muster this morning is a fragmented list of thoughts:
- Bob Moog - pioneer of the synthesizer is gravely ill and I feel very sad about that.
- The Band's second show was good, but a little low-energy.
- First mixes of the album are supposed to come in this weekend from Bruce. I can't wait!
- I actually had a great time at Freddies last night. Drank a little too much, but had a great time and met another gay rock and roll guy and a very attractive ex-marine.
- No one in our band (myself included) has any fashion sense -- and it really shows in the live performance pictures. We need to work on that...
- It looks like if the band can sell 10,000 CD all on it's own we can make a fine middle class living for each of us.
- HOW THE HELL ARE WE GOING TO SELL 10,000 CDS????
- More and more, this music thing is making me feel like a South Park underwear gnome:
- Phase One: Collect underpants
- Phase Two: ?
- Phase Three: Profit
