The Number

Will and I were driving to a friend's house the other night when the number came up. You know, the number of people each of us had slept with. It took till the next afternoon when I came up with the figure of 18 for myself.
So, in my adult life I've had sex with 18 people. While this is perhaps braggable in the straight community, I think it qualities me as a prude in the gay one. Of those 18, I can say that:
- Fifteen of them were men.
- Six of them I consider very good friends.
- Five of them I consider my best friends.
- Three of them I'm still in love with.
- Two of them were one night stands.
- Two of them I've completely lost touch with, but would enjoy meeting again.
- Two of them I'd be happy to never meet again.
- One of them I feel guilty over.
- One of them I've married.
- And one of them has died...
