There's a point in every bad relationship where you tire of being bitch slapped around like bucktoothed crack whore. For me and the band, I think that moment came last night. After a very long day that started at 5:00 a.m., I drove my ass all the way out to Reston for rehearsal, skipping dinner on the way so as not to be late. And how was I rewarded for my diligence? With only two other members showing up. Of those who decided not to show, one had to work (but didn't call to tell us), the second mysteriously disappeared, and the third? Oh, he overslept thru the entire rehearsal.
I'm thru with that crap. Done.
Other Music Stuff
I was looking forward to attending the WHFS Festival this year. Especially since the newly reformed Duran Duran had announced they would be playing the show, but the bastards cancelled. Well, let me look over the lineup, it still may be worth the effort.
Colin Hay (of Men at Work fame) has revamped his Website and now has a bunch of old videos online. It fun to see pixel-poor versions of those campy old videos. Go see.
