Back up and running here at Zentropolis. Its a whole new site, rebuilt from the ground up. I've done away with the ColdFusion this time and opted instead for a Filemaker and Webmerge solution. Movable Type's comment feature was really tempting, and who knows, maybe I'll adopt that in the future, but for now, its rewarding to know this site is a product of my own coding.
Other than the geeky backend, there have been a number of other changes:
- No Music Link - this section of my life is going to have its own Website coming in about a month.
- No Contact Page - it was redundant, and no one ever used the guest book anyway.
- Revised Archives - everything revamped and organized for browsing (For what its worth, I never stopped blogging. so if your an avid reader of blogs, there's plenty of back content).
- New Layout - actually this is a temporary one borrowed from Blue Robot. I'll have one of my own making up in a week or two.
Yes I know there are plenty of broken and unfinished parts of the site. The dust is still settling. Give me a couple of weeks and I should have most of it ironed out.
Final note - See the graphic "Zentropolis" up top? If not please send me an e-mail. I'm testing the use of png graphics in the site.
