10/20/2002 - Domes, Pods, and Pumpkins...
Yesterday was a very long and productive day. We got up at the crack of Dawn, I hurriedly painted the basement steps, and then we packed for a long drive. It took us 11 hours, but we got all in.
First we stopped by Ikea to buy some stuff for the party, then we visited the only monolithic dome structure in Virginia (sooo cool). Next it was off to get Halloween decorations from the farm, and finally we bought about 150 dollars worth of pumpkins at the local markets in Warrenton. I've got some great pictures of the Dome Home that I'll put up later in the week if things don't get too crazy. For now, you'll have to suffer with just this one.
Oh, and one final note: I couldn't stand it anymore. I had to breakdown and buy one of the new iPods. I plan to be much more careful with this one...
