I've been sporting this new beard here. I have tried growing one before, but it was always scraggly and pretty sad looking. Like a 15-year-old trying to be too cool.
Gotten mixed review on it. Some people love it, some have even declared it downright woofy. Still, others wonder if I'm joining the Taliban (especially with that Omar-style nose of mine ;) ). I'll probably keep it till I get sick of the itching.
Apple computer has been hyping the hell out of Steve Job's keynote tomorrow by claiming they will introduce something "Beyond the rumor sites" good. Now understand, the Macintosh community can be well - um - imaginative. Much like the Nazis toward the end of WWII, Mac aficionados love rumors of some "super-secret" weapons to win desktop war. Its only because Apple occasionally DOES introduce something that changes computing completely that these rumors can't be completely ignored. We will see.
Got some Mail from David Y in Key West. His little troop seems to be doing quite well down there and getting great reviews for the musical they are doing. Wish we could join you in the sun Dave. From the pictures, it looks like a charmed existence:
