6/8/2001 - Gay Pride / Gay Shame
Its time for DC Gay Pride weekend and I'm in a better mood for it than I was last year ( when I dubbed it the Gay Festival of Excessive Alcoholic Consumption, which it still essentially is ). I don't know why this is, maybe I've just been away from the bars enough this year to forget the nauseating parade of homosexuals who's primary method of self-definition is BEING a homosexual.
So I'll probably head down, see the sights, and hopefully run into some friends I haven't seen in a while.
Our friend Drew is less convinced. He has grudgingly agreed to go down to pride with us, but only after holding his own " Gay Shame " party the day before. I'll probably attend that one as well. Gay Shame. Hmm.. Now for THAT a harness and feather boa don't seem so out of place...
