Fitz in his fine tabard
8/14/97

Greetings O' traveler! Herein contains my official report on Pennsic XXVI. For those of you not familiar with Pennsic War a brief explanation is posted here. Let me begin by loudly congratulation our find organizers Lea Dize, Mel Ratcliff, and Sam Marsh on an EXCELLENT job. War has never been so easy. I wrote a few checks, and everything was taken care of for me. From land grab, registration, a fine feast, to beautiful tabards (pictured on the left), these people did a phenomenal job, without a single flaw. I think we all own them our appreciation. I would also like to extend my personal gratitude to Lea for taking time to sew all of my garb for the event. I know how hard she is working, and it was very generous of her to take the time to do all that work.

I can defiantly say that this was one of the best wars I have ever attended. I was only present for four days, but managed to cram in a large amount of fun in that time. I had not been to Pennsic in 6 years, and the time away has restored much of the novelty that had been lost by too frequent visits in the past. I still have not participated in any of the battles yet, but someday I may yet get around to it.
